The Beginning & Today
The Irish Pub Hannover was originally opened by Shay & Geraldine MacGowan, both musicians, and soon became one of Germanys best music venues. It was taken over by Geraldine's friend Betty Runge and her business partner Vincent Connor. Recently it has been decorated by ArtHaus Galway, Dymphna & Noel Tate, to make the pub appeal fresh, yet keeping its original authentic charme.

In the Irish Pub Hannover we regularly host traditional Irish music bands as well as contemporary musicians.
We offer traditional Irish food as well as snacks, sandwiches, salads etc. Moreover, you can choose from a large selection of Irish and international draught and bottled beers and a broad range of Irish and Scottish whiskeys.
For all smokers we provide a smoking area and you can also sit in our beer garden in summer months.
We are also a Sports Bar showing all Germany Bundesliga and International Games, Rugby, Gaelic Football, American Football and other popular sports on request. You can watch all Games on big screens and TVs around the Pub. We offer:
